The Mexican Institute of Complex Systems (MICS) was created in 2007 as the first private research institute in Tamaulipas        whose primary purpose is conducting scientific research in the area of complex systems.

In 2008 the MICS designed curriculum carrers,  INDUSTRIAL CHEMISTRY AND IN COMPLEX SYSTEMS, ENVIRONMENTAL CHEMISTRY AND IN COMPLEX SYSTEMS and QUIMIOMETRIC CHEMISTRY AND IN COMPLEX SYSTEMS. These three careers are focused on training of young researchers with the mission and philosophy of the MICS.
