Vision of Complex Systems

For a long time, science tried to simplify problems to be able to catch the essence of the phenomena. And, then, we had perfect imaginary pendulums that, without never giving them prudent, never stopped their oscillation; perfectly isolated chemical reactions, and bacterial populations that grew in means with space and infinite foods. This simplification was necessary to understand the basic mechanisms and laws. But these constructions are far from being in the Nature. This one is complex, with systems and subsystems whose parts have many interactions. From these interactions new behaviors arise, different from those from the parts or from those from simpler systems. At the present time, it is urgent to recognize these behaviors mainly and the mechanisms that give rise to them, if we want to face environmental problems or that ones of our own organism. The vision of complex systems of MICS is this, and it is what we offer to you: as withdrawn you will have to be able to analyze a problem with this approach, with greater probabilities of finding solutions that those immense majority chemical profesionists couldn´t.

Small groups

In MICS, by the profile of our students, the groups will be small, not more than 10 students. And the minimum is ONE student. This implies that, unlike other institutions of superior education, if you pass the entrance examinations and are accepted, you have assured the opening of the group.

Library

We told on an exclusive library that it includes hemeroteca, with collections of several scientific journals, among them: Nature, the most recognized in the world.
